Volleyball

Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams, typically consisting of six players each, are separated by a high net. The objective of the game is to score points by sending a ball over the net and into the opposing team’s court, where it must land within the boundaries. Teams attempt to prevent the ball from touching the ground on their side by using a combination of skills such as serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and digging.

The game is played in sets, with a team needing to score a minimum number of points (usually 25) to win a set, and typically needing to win three sets to win a match. Volleyball can be played indoors or on sand in beach volleyball formats. The sport emphasizes agility, teamwork, and strategy, making it a popular recreational activity and competitive sport worldwide.
